Glee producer Kills Finn in Glee
Cory Monteith rose to fame as a high school quarterback/singer Finn Hudson on the television show Glee.
Though, after the tragic demise of the actor last week, Gleeks have been curiousabout how the popular show will deal with the loss of the actor.
Speaking out for the first time since Monteith's body as found on July 13, the Glee co-producer Ryan Murphy told Deadline that production will start earlier than scheduled and the show will also feature a special tribute episode for Cory.
He also added that the quick return of the cast and the crew will help with the grieving process and that everybody approved of the new decision, including Lea Michelle.
Murphy is hoping that the fans would understand the decision of the cast and crew of Glee.
The show will start with two Beatles-themed shows already written- with the exception of Cory's character- before reaching the third episode where the characters will deal the death of Cory.
Murphy said that Michelle will be included in the writing of the script together with co-creators Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
After the tribute, the show will take a long hiatus, allowing time for the writers to create new story lines with Cory's character.
Murphy also commented that he does not exactly know when Glee will come back as they are still mourning the death of Cory and doing their best with their attempt of damage control.
With the death of Cory in mind, Murphy wanted to use the series as a tool to raise awareness for substance abuse among teenagers and young adults.
