Kelly Clarkson Feasts On Mushrooms Prior To Presidential Inauguration Performance [REPORT]
Kelly Clarkson's rendition of "My Country, 'Tis Of Thee" at President Barack Obama's second inauguration could not have been any better. Clarkson is definitely not a lip-syncing con-artist, and that's why everyone that heard the performance was keen on finding out exactly what the young singers secret is. Thankfully, the hard-nosed journalists at TMZ have uncovered the truth.
"Wanna know the secret to Kelly Clarkson's sensational LIVE performance of "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" at the Presidential Inauguration? Two words ... STUFFED MUSHROOMS," reports TMZ.
Kelly Clarkson reportedly stuffed her face with mushrooms, spaghetti, and a variety of other Italian cuisine before she performed at the 2013 presidential inauguration. Clarkson dined at Washington D.C.'s very famous Buca Di Beppo, one of the best Italian restaurants in the city the night before the performance. The dining choice apparently worked well for the singer.
"We loved having her dine with us!!" tweeted Buca Di Beppo.
"Wow ....I was incredibly nervous and cold ha! I just wanna officially thank President Obama for opening for me haha! Just kidding :)," tweeted Clarkson.
Kelly Clarkson, who is of Hellenic and Welsh descent, has never been specifically tied to Italian food in reports, but we're hoping that she starts eating the cuisine more often. The singer has never sounded as good as she did during the presidential inauguration, which is saying a lot considering her incredible career.
