Gosselin Tax Lien: ‘Jon And Kate Plus 8’ Star Owes 39k In Backed Taxes

Jon Gosselin's tax lien has the proud father owing nearly $40,000 to the government in backed taxes. TMZ reports that the former star of "Jon and Kate Plus 8" didn't pay the IRS all of the money owed in 2009, and now the IRS is going after him.

"According to docs filed in Berks County, Pennsylvania ... Jon still failed to dish out the necessary cash to Uncle Sam [in 2009] resulting in the massive tax bill," TMZ reports.

It's not clear if Jon Gosselin has the money to pay off his tax lien, but if he doesn't begin to pay up, he could get hit with severe penalties that would increase how much he owes.
