Lindsay Lohan's Furniture: Did LiLo Steal $250,000 In Furniture From Bravo?
From her sketchy performance on the Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick" to her multiple cancellations and no-shows to events including her bail on Barbara Walters' 20/20 interview, it probably isn't out of line to say that Lindsay Lohan is one of the least reliable actresses in the business.
A bold decision based on blind faith on a reckless celeb, cable network channel Bravo scheduled LiLo to appear on their home makeover show, "Million Dollar Decorators," and even gave the unstable actress an extravagant $250,000 worth of furniture and remodeled the bedroom of her Beverly Hills home.
According to RadarOnline, Lohan approached Kathryn Ireland, one of the show's interior designers, to take part in the show and was keen to give her Beverly Hills home a makeover. In the end, Lindsay never showed up for the episode's final filming of the "reveal shoot," ultimately failing to meet her end of the bargain.
According to reports from RadarOnline, "Bravo, producers of 'Million Dollar Decorators', and the interior designers were so furious with Lindsay for bailing on the big reveal of her former Beverly Hills rental house, they attempted to repossess the furniture and flooring that was gifted to her. Ireland in particular was absolutely steamed and p***ed off at Lindsay with her antics as she devoted a lot of time to the project.''
''Lindsay didn't appreciate anything that was done for her. She was given $250,000 in furniture. Bravo attempted to get the furniture back, but Lindsay was one step ahead of them and had everything from the house sent to an unknown storage location. Lindsay was quite pleased with herself and bragged to friends that she can get whatever she wants because she is a celebrity.
''Just because the pricey furnishings are in storage doesn't mean that Kathyrn Ireland doesn't want it returned. She thinks it's only fair that Lindsay do the right thing, and just return everything, but she isn't holding her breath for that to happen. It wouldn't shock anyone if Lilo tried to sell the goods," the source that spoke with RadarOnline continued.
Despite the no-show and the lack of a "reveal shoot," Bravo stated, "We were still able to capture the outcome, just like we do for many of the reveal episodes."
Beyond the stolen furniture, rumors are mounting that LiLo is swimming in a sea of debt. According to New York Post, Lindsay Lohan is swimming in debt, including owing Uncle Sam a whopping $233,000 for unpaid back taxes from 2009 and 2010.
