Kelly Osbourne Weight Loss Secret: ‘You Have To Get Happy First’
Kelly Osbourne's weight loss has been dramatic, and the "Dancing with the Stars" star has revealed her secret. The 27-year-old recently dished on how she shed the pounds, and unlike many other stars, Kelly Osbourne's weight loss secret doesn't involve and fad diets or drugs.
"People think I lost weight and then got happy, but that's not how it works," she said, according to the Huffington Post. You have to get happy first. I made a life change, and the weight loss was an amazing perk."
But getting happy wasn't enough. Kelly Osbourne's weight loss didn't come without strenuous exercise, she said.
"I do up to half an hour of cardio, and I also do circuit training, yoga or Pilates - I mix it up," she said.
But just because she shed the pounds, doesn't mean she deprives herself. She still indulges in some of her favorite foods every once in a while.
"I do cheat," she said, according to the Daily Mail. "I have one cheat day a week where I eat whatever the f**k I want."
Looking back on the all weight she lost, Kelly Osbourne said she never wants to gain back that much weight.
"I call myself an FFP: former fat person," she wrote in Glamour's May issue. "And when you're an FFP, you will always see in yourself what people used to bully you for. Even now I don't consider myself skinny, but I have put a lot of hard work into my body over the years, and in the process, I've really learned to love myself."
