Britney Spears Taxes: 'X-Factor' Judge And K-Fed To Reunite Over Backed Taxes
Britney Spears owes backed taxes, and it's going to bring the star and her ex-husband Kevin Federline back together once again. The backed taxes date back to 2004, the same year Britney and K-Fed got married, and the two will once again have to get together to clear up the mess.
TMZ first reported the story, and found documents that say that Britney and K-Fed owe $37,712.71 in backed taxes from 2004, and while $37k may not be that much for Spears, who is reportedly worth more than $200 million, who knows if K-Fed has enough.
The California Franchise Tax Board instituted a lien against Spears and K-Fed, but a source close to Spears said "The lien was filed in error and will be rectified soon."
If the lien is actually in error, then the matter would be cleared up and Spears and K-Fed, who divorced in 2008, would not need to reunite.
