Bon Jovi’s Daughter Arrested: Stephanie Rose Bongiovi Arrested After Heroin Overdose
Bon Jovi's daughter, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, was arrested on early Wednesday morning after an alleged heroin overdose, according to Us Weekly. Police at Hamilton College in NY, where Stephanie Rose Bongiovi attends school, responded to a call saying the 19-year-old had overdosed. They found her alive, but in possession of illegal narcotics.
A drug task force searched Stephanie Rose Bongiovi's room, according to TMZ, where they found heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Stephanie Rose Bongiovi was arrested and charged with several misdemeanors. She was released and will attend a court hearing at a later, undisclosed date.
"In addition to violating state law, the actions alleged to have been committed by the students violate Hamilton College policy," the school said in a statement. "The college is cooperating with the police investigation. Our first concern is always for the safety of our students. Out of respect for the privacy of our students and in accordance with federal regulations, we do not discuss individual health or disciplinary matters."
