‘Jurassic Park 3D’ Poster Leaked For April 2013 Re-Release; ‘Jurassic Park 4’ Still In The Works [PHOTO]
"Jurassic Park" fans will have to keep waiting for a possible fourth movie, but the good thing is they can kill some time with the re-release of "Jurassic Park 3"... in 3D!
Previously released in 1993, the dinosaur thriller written by Michael Crichton and David Koepp will be once again be busting into theaters but this time the frightening creatures will be reaching out towards viewers. Set to hit 3D movie theaters on April 5, 2013, fans can prepare themselves for the all new experience with a brand new poster.
The film, which was directed by Steven Spielberg, will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2013. "Jurassic Park" starred Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum. Based off of Crichton's novel of the same name, "Jurassic Park" is about a group of people who go on a preview tour of a cloned dinosaur theme park...and encounter some major (and deadly) problems when they "run amok."
The film grossed $900 million worldwide during its release, and is bound to get fans back out to the theaters again with its 3D revival.
Meanwhile, a "Jurassic Park 4" is still in the works. Back in June we reported that "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver had signed on with Universal to work on the fourth installment. The plot of the movie has been kept hush hush, but a few weeks ago rumors began to surface that the concept for the fourth movie revolved around human-dinosaur hybrids. The concept art for the hybrids leaked on Reddit, but fortunately it's not a current plot idea. "Jurassic Park" fans can rest easy because the ridiculous storyline was linked to a 2005 script by William Monahan and John Sayles.
Will you be going to see the 3D re-release when it hits theaters on April 5?
