‘Maleficent’ Adds More Jolie-Pitt Children; Pax And Zahara Join Angelina And Vivienne
"Maleficent" has become a full-fledged Jolie-Pitt affair! The live-action Disney film has added Zahara and Pax Jolie-Pitt to the already famous cast.
Deadline.com reported on Tuesday that the Disney tale about the "Sleeping Beauty" villain will now feature not only four-year-old Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, but her older siblings, eight-year-old Pax and seven-year-old Zahara.
"Maleficent," which is currently shooting, stars Angelina Jolie in the title role. In August it was announced that her youngest daughter, Vivienne, would be tackling the young version of Princess Aurora. Elle Fanning (Dakota Fanning's younger sister), has been cast as the older version of sleeping beauty (and Maleficent's victim).
While Vivienne's role will be a speaking one, Pax and Zahara will have non-speaking roles.
"They have smaller parts," a source revealed to Us Weekly. "Shiloh was supposed to be in it, too, but she was bored and not in the mood during the day her part was supposed to happen, so she ended up not being in the film.
Vivienne, Pax and Zahara's roles in "Maleficent" won't be the first time that one of the Jolie-Pitt offspring spent some time in front of the camera. Shiloh, Angelina and Brad Pitt's eldest biological child, starred as baby Caroline in the 2008 film "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."
Viewers can see Angelina, Vivienne, Pax and Zahara in "Maleficent" when the Disney film hits theaters March, 14, 2014.
