Liam Hemsworth Allegedly Upset Over Miley Cyrus Inspired Jonas Brothers Song, ‘Wedding Bells’ [VIDEO]
Miley Cyrus may have a feud brewing between fiancé Liam Hemsworth and old flame Nick Jonas. Last week the 19-year-old former Disney star made headlines because of "Wedding Bells." No, Cyrus and Hemsworth did not finally tie the knot. Instead, the Jonas Brothers performed a brand new song, "Wedding Bells," and the lyrics, written by Nick Jonas, seem to hint to Cyrus...his teen love.
Cyrus and Jonas used to hold the celebrity nickname "Niley" during their relationship, and it appears that the youngest Jonas looked to his ex-girlfriend for inspiration for their latest hit. Although Nick or his brothers have yet to confirm who the song was about, Cyrus' fiancé, "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth, doesn't appreciate the song.
"I know he's not too thrilled with the song and I know he doesn't like it," a source revealed to Hollywood Life about Hemsworth, 22. "He's not a fan of the song and I don't blame him one bit."
The song features lyrics like: She says, can you keep a secret/ A ceremony set for June/ I know it's a rush but I just love him so much/ I hope that you can meet him soon.
But while Hemsworth doesn't appreciate the hints at his future wife, Cyrus reportedly thinks "Wedding Bells" is a "sweet song"...although she doesn't believe it is about her.
Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth got engaged this past May. The singer and actress recently went on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" where she explained exactly how and where her beau proposed. Cyrus told Leno that she had no idea her now fiancé would propose, revealing that she had just performed a free online concert in her backyard when he asked the question.
"About 20 minutes after ["Lilac White"] - it's one of Liam's favorite songs - He asked me to marry him," Cyrus explained. "I had no idea! He was sitting there and I'm like, 'He's looking at me funny!' And then I knew."
Despite getting engaged on May 31, Cyrus and Hemsworth are in no rush to get to the altar. Liam Hemsworth is currently working on filming the second installment to the "Hunger Games" series, "Catching Fire." Miley Cyrus revealed in September at the MTV Video Music Awards that she's "really excited" to get married, but is happy to have a long engagement.
"I know we're forever and I don't really need a [piece of] paper right now," she said to reporters.
