JWoww Engaged! 'Jersey Shore' Star Accepts Proposal From Roger Mathews While Skydiving
The cast of "Jersey Shore" is growing up! While many have been speculating for weeks that Jenni "JWoww" Farley was engaged to beau Roger Mathews, the couple have finally made the announcement official.
JWoww revealed her big news to In Touch magazine...along with the picture of her new bling! "It's more than I ever expected," the 27-year-old reality star told the magazine. Roger, 37, revealed that he spent months planning his proposal to JWoww. Excited about his future with Jenni, Roger went all out to surprise his beau. So what does "all out" exactly mean? Jumping out of a plane to pop the question! The pair were skydiving on Sept. 14 when Roger decided to propose.
As for the ring, JWoww told In Touch that, "Roger's not an average-looking guy, he's huge: his personality, his size [6'4"]. So I always said, 'I want my ring like you -- big! The bigger the better!"

The reality starlet definitely got her wish for a big ring. Designed by jeweler Layne Friedman, the white gold setting features a cushion-cut diamond over five carats and surrounded by pink and white 2.5 carat diamonds.
Like JWoww, MTV was just as impressed by the ring. The network which has been home to "Jersey Shore" from the start released a statement congratulating the couple and commenting on the ring.
"We offer our best wishes and a huge congratulations to Jenni and Roger on the news of their engagement. After seeing the ring, all we can say is 'JWOWW.'"
Jenni's "Jersey Shore" cast mates also took some time to send some warm wishes.
Best friend and new mom Snooki took some time away from baby Lorenzo to tweet, "@JENNIWOWW CONGRATS on the engagement boo! Love you so much."
Vinny Guadagnino tweeted, "Congrats to my big sis @JENNIWOWW and Roger on their engagement!!"
"Congrats!!!! @RogerMathewsNJ @JENNIWOWW I Just Herd The News!!!," Pauly D tweeted. "They Grow Up So Fast :)" The DJ must have been thinking about the latest addition to the "Jersey Shore" family and followed up his post with another, writing "Hmmm It's Official Im The Only Single One Left...Now Accepting Applications #SeriousInquiriesOnly."
Sammi added that she "couldn't be more happy," but some good ol' "Jersey Shore" drama almost went down when it was revealed via Twitter that someone tried to steal her beau Ronnie.
"@MTVRonnie said no to me 4 times so I cut my losses and asked jenni cause my biological clock is ticking," Mathews joked on Twitter.
A big day for the pair, JWoww's rep released a statement thanking fans for their support. "We are officially engaged and look forward to this next chapter in our lives! Thank you to all of our fans for their well wishes. We hope they find love at the Shore too!"
The couple began dating during season three of the "Jersey Shore." Fans of the reality star were able to get a peak inside her and Roger's relationship during "Jersey Shore" and spin-off series "Snooki & JWoww."
