Giuliana Rancic On Baby Edward: 'I Love The Way He Smells'
Giuliana Rancic just can't get over that new baby smell. She falls more in love with baby Edward with every single whiff.
"I love the way he smells. There is nothing like baby smells," the new mother gushed to People magazine. "Maybe it's the shampoo, I don't know. Babies just have the smell."
The 37-year-old is settling into her motherhood role with the greatest of ease. "I love holding him - there's nothing like looking into his eyes," she said. Baby Edward is changing every day, but the most notable change has been the color of his eyes, which were originally brown but are now a dark blue.
The couple has finally figured out how to lull the little guy to sleep, a trick that will come in handy in the forthcoming months. "He loves head rubs," she said, proudly. "He can be so alert and awake, but the second Bill rubs his head - he's out!"
Motherhood has really changed the E! News host, who has admitted to having a shoe obsession on her namesake reality TV show "Giuliana & Bill." "I've toned down my look in terms of my everyday look," she admitted. "I'm definitely wearing ponytails all the time."
"Having a baby, being a mom, is truly the greatest thing I've ever done in my life," Giuliana told E! News.
Bill echoed the sentiment in his own special way. "He either eats, he sleeps or he's pooping," he noted, but overall he's a "cool customer."
Giuliana recently took her first trip away from baby Edward to attend the "Do It for the Girls! day, a P&G GIVEHope and SheSpeaks event to promote the importance of early detection of breast cancer - a cause dear to her heart since defeating the terrible disease.
"I've learned," she said, "that, even when you're no the ground crying and you feel the world is over, if you just stay strong and just stay positive, you can go from your darkest point to your best point, in what seems like that."
