Blake Lively Returns To Work A Week After Marriage To Ryan Reynolds
Blake Lively is working on augmenting that already stacked bank account of hers. Just a week after her clandestine wedding to hunky fiance Ryan Reynolds, 35, the leggy blonde was back at work on the set of "Gossip Girl."
The 25-year-old newlywed was all smiles with her blond locks restrained in a sleek ponytail. She seemed to be wearing some fashionable Serena Van Der Woodsen getup, but alas, the frock was shielded by a hooded overcoat.
We were also hoping to get a peek of her sparkly bauble, but that too, was hidden from public view.
The newlyweds - who married Sept. 9, in a secret ceremony at Boone Hall Plantation in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., just outside of Charleston, " promised to support and love each other and to make each other laugh," reported People Magazine.
Lively wore a tailored Marchesa couture bridal ball gown with a hand-draped silk tulle bodice garlanded with crystal and rose gold embroidery and Reynolds looked masculine in a Burberry suit.
Several media outlets are reporting the couple remained in the charming town after the intimate ceremony. Whether, they snuck away to some exotic locale for a brief honeymoon remains unclear.
The couple seems to be speeding right along into their future together. Reynolds better start refining his fatherhood skills because his new bride has " always wanted a big family."
"Oh, I'd love 30 [children] if I could." She told Allure magazine before tying the knot.
Lively - who was probably riding the wave of a secret engagement during the interview told the publication, "Right now, I'm so peaceful, I've never been happier in my life."
The couple began house hunting together just six months into their relationship. They currently live in a colonial-style home in Bedford, N.Y.
"They knew they were headed for marriage when they bought the house together," a source told People Magazine. "They've been nesting for quite a while now. They moved to the suburbs which has a pretty conservative lifestyle."
Adding: "They also picked a very traditional kind of house for people who work in Hollywood. They wanted a house with character, not a trendy, modern house. Their place is very homey. [Lively] is very domestic."
