French Magazine Publishes Topless Photographs Of Duchess Kate Middleton, While She Was Spotted Wearing Nun-Inspired Frock And Headdress
The Royal family will most likely not look back at 2012 with the fondest of memories - privacy wise, at least. Just weeks after UK Tabloid The Sun, published nude photographs of Prince Harry, Duchess Kate Middleton has fallen victim to the same depraved act.
French Tabloid "Closer" shocked the world, along with members of the royal family when they released a series of topless photographs of the Duchess of Cambridge sunbathing while on vacation in the South of France with Prince William.
The brazen photos were accompanied with the caption: "OH MY GOD!"
William and Kate who are currently touring Asia are said to be "saddened," of the debauchery and are considering taking legal action against the paper for their serious lack of judgment.
The racy photographs surfaced as the royal couple were spotted in Malaysia's largest mosque, in central Kuala Lumpur. William looked dapper in a dark suit and patterned tie, while Kate looked demure in a nun-inspired frock and headscarf.
Just yesterday, Kate made her first speech abroad as she visited sick children at a Malaysian hospice.
"I have learned that delivering the best possible palliative care to children is vital, providing children and their families with a place of support, care and enhancement at a time of great need is simply life-changing," Kate said during her two-minute speech, adding, "With effective pallative care, life can be transformed."
A spokesperson from St. James Palace released a statement condemning the photographs:
"Their Royal Highnesses have been hugely saddened to learn that a French publication and a photographer have invaded their privacy in such a grotesque and totally unjustifiable manner. The incident is reminiscent of the worst excesses of the press and paparazzi during the life of Diana, Princess of Wales, and all the more upsetting to the duke and duchess for being so. Their Royal Highnesses had every expectation of privacy in the remote house. It is unthinkable that anyone should take such photographs, let alone publish them."
Adding:"The Duke and Duchess remain focused currently on their Tour of Singapore, Malaysia, Solomon Islands and Tuvalu on behalf of HM The Queen."
