Has Emma Watson Landed A Role In E.L. James’ ‘50 Shades of Grey?’
Rumor has it "Harry Potter" darling Emma Watson has landed the coveted role of Anastasia Steele, in the big screen adaptation of E.L. James' epically popular novel "50 Shades Of Grey." But, don't get too excited because the actress says it's not so.
"I haven't read the book, I haven't a read a script, nothing," she told EW. "There are so many movies you become attached to when I've literally never even received a phone call. It was the same way with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo - I never even saw a script!"
Watson's family and friends were none the wiser as they also believed she was up for the role due to extensive media coverage.
"I told them just because there are 60 articles on the Internet doesn't mean it's any less true than if there are three or four." Said Watson.
Instead, she is currently shooting Darren Aronofsky's "Noah," which will recount the story of Noah's Arc.
Director Darren Aronofsky, who also directed the Oscar-winning film "Black Swan," recently tweeted a picture of the construction of the arc. "I dreamt about this since I was 13. And now it's a reality. Genesis 6:14″" he wrote.
The 22-year-old just wrapped shooting for Sofia Coppola's movie "The Bling Ring." She played bad girl Nicki, a young woman who burgled a series of celebrity homes, ranging from Paris Hilton to Orlando Bloom.
