Two-Time Olympic Champions Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor Shares Beauty Secrets
While we non-volleyball deities have to scour our local beauty stores for the ideal exfoliators to slough off those pesky dead skin, reigning Olympic champions Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor, only have to pay a visit to the beach for some dermal rejuvenation.
"Sand is a great exfoliator," Walsh Jennings told Allure magazine. "Misty and I have very soft bottoms."
It's no secret many people tune in to watch the athletic duo's volleyball tournaments because of their skimpy uniforms.
"I love our uniforms," Walsh Jennings said. "You don't want to be wearing big, baggy shorts. They get in the way."
But with such barely there fabrics covering their nether regions, have you ever wondered what method they use to keep, well, hair free?
Count waxing out because the girls " hate getting waxed," adding: "Waxing makes me want to punch someone in the face. But I don't want to be self-conscious and worry about my bikini line when I'm playing, so [I use] lasers."
Like every other woman, these glamazons are not immune to poor body image issues. While Treanor is fine with her chest, Walsh Jennings has considered having plastic surgery, and said to be currently "60-40 against it." She also admitted to wearing "Padded" tops during tournaments.
