Mark–Paul Gosselaar Ties The Knot In California
The former "Saved by the Bell" hunk is officially all grown-up. Mark-Paul Gosselaar wed advertising executive, Catriona McGinn, on Saturday at the Sunstone winery in Santa Ynez, Calif.
Sunstone winery is a small family owned and operated winery who is redolent of wineries in the Provencal French countryside, and only book a handful of weddings each year.
"He was so excited to have found the woman of his dreams," said Jewelry designer to the stars, Neil Lane, who hand-crafted the couple's engagement rings and wedding bands. "He couldn't wait to propose!"
Gosselaar is not the type of fiancé to sit idly by while his wife-to-be takes care of a range of matrimonial duties. "I'm too type-A to let it happen around me," he told People magazine before the wedding. "We're trying to make it as traditional as possible. It's going to be fun!"
"Trust me, we are going to eat our a--es off!" he said about his upcoming Italian honeymoon. "We're really excited about that element."
The 38-year-old has two children from a previous marriage with Lisa Russell, an actress he met while shooting "Save by the Bell: The College Years," in 1993.
Catch Gosselaar is in the drama-comedy television series, "Franklin & Bash," every Tuesday at 10 PM / 9PM central on TNT.
