True Blood Recap: Alcide Lies To keep Sookie Out Of The Slammer, Pam Begins To Accept Tara – And Fairy Sightings!
In this week's episode, "We'll Meet Again," Alcide tells Debbie's parents that Marcus Bozeman, the former werewolf packmaster of Shreveport, killed his V-addicted ex-girlfriend, and that he avenged her by snapping his neck. They seemed to believe him, which means the Debbie Pelt murder investigation is officially closed, saving Sookie from a future filled with orange jumpsuits.
However, Alcide was not the only supernatural creature to come to Sookie's defense last night. Vampire Bill's progeny, Jessica, who hasn't been too happy with Sookie lately, compelled Sheriff Bellefleur to forget about the Debbie Pelt murder case. What is it about Sookie that makes everyone want to save her? It must be that sinfully delicious fairy blood.
Meanwhile, Sookie has chosen to drown her troubles with some good ole' liquid courage. Her elixir of choice? The fruity kind, how very fairy-like of her.
When Alcide shows up to her house to tell her what he had done, she shows her gratitude by mounting him. Her two ex-lovers, Bill and Eric, stealthily lurked in the shadows, watching the show.
Now that Pam has been released by daddy Eric, she seemed determined to take her progeny, Tara, (which she reluctantly turned as a favor to Sookie) under her wings. First order of business? Feedings!
Of course what would True Blood be without some hilarious one-liners. Here's the latest in a string of gut-busting pam-isms. "Seriously, three days old and she already has an eating disorder. Why me?"
At first Tara refused her meal, a fang-banger named Melanie, because she's still coming to grips with her steadily decreasing humanity. However, Pam coaxed her through the feeding process. Telling the distraught baby vampire, who has been neglected, abused, and raped in her human life, what she needed to hear most while her fangs were sunken deep into Melanie's jugular. "No human can hurt you any longer," Said Pam, "This is who you are now, the top of the chain."
The fairy community has returned to Bon Temps! and their return led Jason to a shocking discovery. His beloved parents were not killed in a flood like he originally thought, but by vampires. Wonder how Sookie is going to take the news? More binge-drinking perhaps?
