Bristol Palin’s Reality TV Show “Life’s A Trip” Just Got Demoted Due To Low Ratings

Meager ratings have bumped Bristol Palin's reality TV show "Life's A Tripp," from its premiere time slot. Instead of its regular time at 10p.m ET on Tuesdays, it will now battle it out for ratings gold, one hour later. Taking its place is the controversial series, "Dance Moms." Who knows, perhaps the good news will have a calming effect on Abby's frazzled nerves.

"Life's A Tripp," which premiered June 19th, brought the Lifetime network a disappointing 726,000 viewers. The show didn't fare any better the following week, when only 506,000 viewers tuned in. Whereas, its competitor, "Dance Mom's," raked in over a million more viewers.

To make matters worse, the show has been subject to two lawsuits. The first filed by Stephen Banks, a man who badgered Palin during the show's first epidode. And the second, derives from the reality starlet's "Dancing With The Stars's" co-star, Kyle Massey, and his brother Christopher. Apparently the pair was set to appear in a bio reality series with Palin, which later took a backseat to "Life's A Tripp."

"We never wanted or intended it to get this far. " Kyle said." We solely just wanted to make quality television that families could enjoy...And it just went to a completely different level."

Perhaps Palin can take a few pointers from mommy dearest, Sarah Palin, to revive her lackluster show. According to the Huffington Post, the first episode of "Sarah Palin's Alaska" debuted to an impressive 5 million viewers.
