What Will Happen In Season 5 Episode 2 Of “True Blood?”
Warning: Spoilers Ahead
HBO series "True Blood" just began their fifth season on Sunday, June 10, and the anticipation of what to come this season is already killing fans. It's bound to be a blood draining season, and we've got the scoop on what to expect from episode two of season five, "Authority Always Wins."
Episode 5.02, "Authority Always Wins," will air at 9 P.M. on HBO on Sunday, June 17. Over the past couple months Truebies have been feasting their hungry eyes on photos of former "Law & Order: SVU" star Christopher Meloni as new character Roman, a member of the Vampire Authority. We'll get to see Meloni in action in this week's episode as Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) are dragged to the Vampire Authority Headquarters in New Orleans.
According to Dread Central, Bill and Eric will "become acquainted with the Authority's interrogation techniques," so prepare yourself for an episode with more blood than usual.
Over the past few seasons "True Blood" has experimented with flashbacks, and this episode will find Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) at the center of one. In the flashback fans will get to have a peek at Pam when she was still a human (something she definitely hasn't been in a long time). Dread Central reports that in her human days Pam was the madam of the Comstock Brothel in San Francisco. Truebies will also get to witness Pam's first encounter with her maker, Eric. These flashbacks are bound to be pretty juicy!
This episode will also find Alcide still struggling with the consequences of killing wolf packmaster Marcus. While he refuses to pay tribute to the man he killed (can you blame the man?), he also refuses to take Marcus' place as the new packmaster (he never was one for attention).
Although Marcus is gone, his mother isn't, and this episode will find that Martha Bozeman (Dale Dickey) is doing a lot more damage than just eating her dead son's insides. While Sam (Sam Trammell) thought he and Luna (Janina Gavankar) were off the hook when Alcide admitted to killing Marcus, Martha isn't letting them get away that easy, demanding to see her granddaughter (Luna and Marcus' daughter).
The rest of the Bon Temps gang seems to be in trouble as well. Learning that Russell Edgington (Denise O'Hare) has returned, Sookie "procures a home-protection system," and Arlene (Carrie Preston) is still trying to figure out what has got Terry (Todd Lowe) all twisted.
We haven't seen the last of newly turned vampire and former Fellowship Of The Sun leader, Reverend Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian). Newlin, who came not only out of the coffin, but out of the closet in the last episode, tries to strike up an offer with Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll). Is it possible that the offer has something to do with his recent proclamation of love at Jason (Ryan Kwanten)?
Tune into HBO on Sunday at 9 P.M. to catch the second episode of "True Blood."
